In every coming year new school term approaches, Zack who is the program manager looks at the impact of technology is having in the classroom.
Not so long ago, the back to school season was marked by a dash of exercise books, modeling clay and coloring pencils. Today it’s not just the shop that’s gone; books and pencils are joined by laptops and tablet computers as educational essentials. School pupils are now fully fledged with digital natives.
As an organization we are focused to empower informal school pupils with digital computer learning skills. We need to enable all youth to learn the principles of information technology and computing, how digital systems work, and how to put this knowledge to use through programming to create the change they want to see in the world.
We have a weekly digital learning school program in Rossy Valley Academy which is more interactive, where kids take part in practical with the help of trainer. Meaning that children are becoming computer-literate before they’ve even started going to High school and college, it is unsurprising, therefore, that technology is playing an increasingly central role in the classroom.
